Sorry to ask that, but do you have enough space on the other nas?
I'm copying less than 150gb to an empty 6tb drive.

It looks like the task is not completed. Have you checked whether your copy task shows completion?
The task shows as complete in the log. It has shown as complete every time that I have run the task. I discovered that the folders were empty when I did a comparison of the source and target trees.

USB Copy doesn't copy sub-folders

I have 2 x f2-221. The primary server is the active NAS providing storage and backups for the rest of the network devices. The second NAS is the rsync destination for the primary share and daily backups have worked correctly. Periodically I backup the second NAS to an external USB drive using USB Co...

'coming soon' can be months if not years 'surveillance package as example'.

When I bought my f2-221 in March 2019, I was told that the surveillance software was imminent. Still waiting. Actually not still waiting. Had to go another direction for surveillance.

Re: Web Logout Successful! in logs

I get those from internal network addresses, sometimes with a visible login-logout pair, sometimes just the logout. I did recently find 2 from outside addresses, one in South Africa, one in China. The odd part is that the server has no apps other than what comes when TOS is installed. I have to chec...

Re: F2-210 - Unresponsive

[at=aSystemOverload post_id=13429 time=1633121940 user_id=3849][/at] The other way to restore a TM NAS is to replace the corrupted internal USB drive that holds the boot loader. I fixed a bricked f2-221 by installing a quality "fit size" 32gb USB key with the TNAS software installed on it. BTW, the ...

Ethernet to Ethernet connection?

I have 2 x f2-221's.

Can I connect the Ethernet ports together as a way to rsync from one to the other?
My goal would be to free up a port on my new router.
Would I still be able to reach the web page or ssh to the Nas that doesn't have a direct connection to the router?

Thanks!

Re: F2-210 Locked after update

Have you tried removing the drives and then powering up to see if you can find the Nas on the network? Sounds like the update failed and you'll have to try again. I never do the update online. I first download the os file and install it manually. That removes the potential for a network issue messin...

Re: Rsync stuck on preparing

Do you have the rsync server app running on the synology target? I backup tnas to tnas and had to start the server on the target. Now my backup runs like clockwork every day.

Will 5.0 provide the ability to run standard linux applications without having to run within a packager?
