Re: TOS 5.1.34 (X86) is Released for update
After the system died post-upgrade (three beeps, all HD lights red, TNAS PC reporting uninitialized), I used TNAS PC to re-initialize it. This caused me to lose all my permissions and such but it did successfully upgrade it to 5.1.34. Things worked for a bit but it died overnight. One of the HD ligh...

Re: TOS 5.1.34 (X86) is Released for update
Not working on F4-220. Updating from v5.1.33 counts to 100%, then rebootet with the 5 min delay, but then all HDD lights are red, Nas goes to bootloader and shows "no harddisks installed". I pulled the hdds, powercycled and tried to install the v5.1.34 ins file. Installation went to 100%,...

Re: TOS 5.1.34 (X86) is Released for update
"Please be logical and realistic! TOS 4 and earlier versions were born 12 years ago. At that time, 2GB was good enough to cope with various NAS application" Seems quite reasonable to me. I'm sympathetic to the impacted users but we can't expect meaningful evolution of TOS unless Terra star...

QBT_REJECTED Files / Application fails to load torrents
Problem: qBittorrent application fails to load torrents (*.torrent) that are placed in the qBittorrent 'Monitored Folder'. After a few seconds, the *.torrent files get turned into '*.qbt_rejected' files. Situation: About a month ago after a reboot or restart of qBittorrent, the application no longer...

Re: After update to 5.0, system becomes unusable at ~12:15am for a period of time
That said, the symptoms seem less severe since the upgrade to 5.1.31. I don't get system notification emails anymore about system being sluggish and the Plex issues are not quite as bad.

Still seeing the same symptoms. Between Midnight and 12:30ish, the system grinds to a halt and Plex becomes unusable.

After update to 5.0, system becomes unusable at ~12:15am for a period of time
Problem: Once or twice a day, around noon and midnight, my F4-421 system grinds to a halt for 15-20 minutes. Resources spike, I get notification emails about system being sluggish, and if we're watching Plex, the show dies and we have to wait 15-20 minutes for the system to unfreeze. As we're night ...

Created Firewall Rule - Broke all connections to device - help!
Help! I created a single 'accept' firewall rule for a single port but it blocked all connections to my TNAS, both externally and within the same network. The only way I can do anything with the device is by connecting a monitor and keyboard/mouse directly to it. Really not sure how that ended up bre...
