Re: Time Machine Error BACKUP DISK DOES NOT SUPPORT THE REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
OK, so the solution was actually pretty simple: uncheck "Enable Bonjour Time Machine Broadcast via SMB" in Control Panel -> Discovery Service. Thats it. I'm curious from you others if this also works for you,

Re: Time Machine Error BACKUP DISK DOES NOT SUPPORT THE REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
Thanks for the reply. This is definitely not a 10.15.5. problem. I also tried with a Macbook running 10.13.6, to the same effect. The Macrumours link you mentioned has nothing to do with this problem, it only relates to creating bootable backups.

Re: Time Machine Error BACKUP DISK DOES NOT SUPPORT THE REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
Hi, I tried that but the error stays the same (screenshots attached). Is there somebody in your support team with more knowledge about SMB or AFP time machine shares in Linux? This thread seems to be leading to nothing.

Re: create Volume or Storage Pool on USB drive
I see, thanks! Is there a way to rename a USB drive to something other than usbshare1?

create Volume or Storage Pool on USB drive
Hi again, I'm running TOS 4.1 on a F2-420. An external USB HDD (ext4) is connected and showing as usbshare1 in File Manager. However, in Control Panel, both in Volume and Storage, "Create" is greyed out. How do I create a new Volume on this USB drive? I also tried to create a shared folder...
