Re: Are We All Beta Testers??
That was my feeling after 2 weeks of test (yes, it takes time to copy 36 TB). Although I did not lose a file, I felt the TOS was unnecessarily flashy (I mean eye candy) and saw problems that I did not expect on an equipment that is intended to be reliable and secure. I sent it back to amazon and got...

Re: How to reinstall after changing a disk ?
Thank you for your answer. I tried to reset everything and reinstall TOS to a new setup and it was impossible (and not documented). The windows program displayed that install was successful and that it was rebooting the NAS. After the reboot, it just let me to chose to reinstall (again and again). T...

How to reinstall after changing a disk ?
I had 5 new HGST 12 TB disk that I put in this new F5-221. But one disk was defective and had to RMA it. Without waiting, I put a 8 TB to temporarily replace it and put these 5 disks in JBOD BTRFS. When I will receive the new disk, I presume I'll have to reformat everything. Do I have to reinstall T...

Re: Wake on LAN (WOL)
Yes, I too miss this network function. The NAS is too floors below and used at most a few hours a day. If I shut it down, I need to be able to remotely restart it.

Re: How to make Kodi browse NFS share ?
I have had very few opportunity to restart the NAS yet because I am still filling it. But I haven't observed the bug you described (I will have to test it). What I have found is that the drives don't sleep and the fan speed speed goes near zero (while full speed is selected) and the drives temperatu...

Re: How to make Kodi browse NFS share ? (resolved)
Thank you for your help. I did and had the same result. Then I enabled NFSv4.1 Support (because that's the only other option there). Then I changed IP or segment allowed (put * instead of the local LAN). Then it worked ! I will have to (un)do these changes one by one to leave only the necessary one....

How to make Kodi browse NFS share ?
Hello, I have recently received my first F5-221. I am uploading content from another home made NAS under OMV with rsync and it works great saturating the Ethernet Gigabit interface. The NAS has 5 disks in JBOD BTRFS, single volume. I am able to access the public share with SMB but not with NFS. NFS ...
