Thank you for response. But, as the disk noise is so much louder (I mean an order of magnitude louder) than any other of the now 5 external enclosures I have tested, I need to give up on the TerraMaster design. It is the relatively cooler enclosure for my mix of 2 WD Red 6,400 rev and Seagate 72,000...
