Just to confirm the following:
I have now reformatted my NVMe drive to 4096 and can confirm that the HyperCache creation now works.
I feel it would be good practive to mention this in your documentation to share with other TM users, it may save them time and effort.

I think you misunderstand my question. My hard drives are 4096 formatted and in use. The issue I was told is that the MVMe drives I am trying to use are 512 and should be formatted to 4096 to match the HDD's in use. I was having problems with setting hypercache on M2 NVMe drives. During an online support session, I was informaed by the tech that the drives need to be formatted in 4k (4096) LBA.
