Re: How does the computer remotely login to TNAS?
The Step 4, is a bit amystery to me. I have only one file area defined as Shared Folder: /Alle_Data There is no notion in the folder name of the access mechanism, wheter its SFTP, WebDAV, SMB or alike. Its Shared so the client(s) can use the Shared Folder in any (doable and workable) way. Is the TOS...

Re: How does the computer remotely login to TNAS?
You can try mounting again using a third-party WebDAV client (such as RaiDrive or WinSCP): Server Address: Enter https://<your TNAS_IP or domain name>:<port> Credentials: Enter the username and password of your TerraMaster NAS administrator or corresponding authorized account. I tried WinSCP short ...

Re: How does the computer remotely login to TNAS?
Thanks, appreciate you will update the 2020 guide :-) I will - based on your response - not look at SMB as an option. Instead I will focus on WebDAV. However the User permissions you refer to on the TOS-side, to allow for WebDAV access is no longer in the WebDAV section (as I understand it was < TOS...

Re: How does the computer remotely login to TNAS?
The method to log in TNAS.online is to input the website of www.TNAS.online in the browser address bar, or to click ‘Remote Login’ button in TNAS application ............ Guys, isn't it time for an update to these seemingly useful tips from 2020 ? I have a few questions, to be answered in such an u...

Re: [Help] For connecting TNAS to respond to assigned subnet IP address
Is your network set to DHCP or static IP? It seems like the NAS did not obtain an IP address. To resolve your issue more quickly, we need to perform a remote diagnosis. Please go to the official website's live chat to book an engineer for remote assistance, and include the link to this post when ma...

Re: [Help] For connecting TNAS to respond to assigned subnet IP address
You can try connecting a monitor to check the current status of the F8 SSD Plus, record a boot-up video, and send it to the support email. If you can log in via the monitor, you can enter 'ip a' to view the current device IP address. I connected my LED TV as console to device, but after boot sequen...

Re: [Help] For connecting TNAS to respond to assigned subnet IP address
According to the screenshot information above, when the IP address of the NAS is set to 168.254.44.88, it can be accessed normally; however, when it is changed to 192.168.86.101, access becomes impossible. I suggest that you first check the network address configuration of your computer. Additional...

Re: [Help] For connecting TNAS to respond to assigned subnet IP address
Hi, I still cannot even ping device (gives: Destination host unreachable) and its not showing up in my subnet !
Time is running out. If I cannot get this TNAS working by tomorrow Jan 4, I need to return my F8 SSDPlus bought thru Amazon.
I will pull out my costly SSD's beforehand, of course.

Additional symptoms supplied: Eth interface on the back, shows steady green light on the top and steady orange light at the bottom.
