Re: TOS 4.1.32(ARM) is released for update
Settings revert. NFS still broken. Works at first, then RPC drops killing all NFS connections. This takes time and can be random. So far only reproducible after a proxmox backup run. I have to connect to my linux machines using Samba for consistency. SNMP works, but the settings are hard coded and n...

Re: Unable to retrieve data on USB disk
(PS did you get NFS working at boot on 4.1.30, still broken for me :( ) Yes. Something to do with the way NFS is being started in the Sys V init scripts. My fix... ssh root@tnas.device.ip I created a new symlink ln -s /etc/init.d/nfs /etc/rc.d/S100nfs Now when the TOS reboots the nfs service starts...

Re: Unable to retrieve data on USB disk
Thanks for the advice. However, I am an avid Linux user, and tried to access the drive from Ubuntu 20x without any success. Also viewed the drive with gparted and it says there was no file system or partition. I am fed up with this device, its flaky. I have threads in other parts of this forum where...

TNAS Inialize
I am trying to initialize my TNAS F2-210 that had previously worked. Upon booting I have the white startup screen at the base IP4 address 192.168.1.80. they system goes through the drive check without error, then asks if I want to download the software automatically or download and install manually....

Unable to retrieve data on USB disk
Good day. I recently had some issue with my Terra-Master F2-210 and am having trouble trying to re-initialize the system. Problem, I have some data stored on a 3gb hard drive via a USB drive that was connected to the NAS while it was functioning. I need the data off this drive. I hooked the USB driv...

Re: NFS service issues at NAS startup
So I have tinkered with this quite a bit. I refreshed my whole TNAS back to a clean install of the new 4.1.27 firmware and still have the same issue as mentioned before. 1. NFS daemon is now starting at boot as it should evidenced by the following: [michael@vmserver ~]$ ssh root@192.168.1.80 -p 9222...

Re: NFS service issues at NAS startup
And the thank you was short lived due to TerraMaster development. I installed the 4.1.27 firmware today and it has fixed the NFS enable on boot service, but its not starting up the nfs shares on the server end. I'm am not very technical in this aspect but after reboot /etc/init.d/nfs root@TNAS-01079...

Re: NFS service issues at NAS startup
I just want to thank all the users of this product that took the time to troubleshoot the NFS failure. I am a home user, so the bug wasn't on my priority list, and I just kept going back into TOS gui and re enabling NFS. I also have a F2-210 and enabling NFS service under root via SSH shell worked. ...
